Letters to the Plantation HOA Board and Garden City Attorney

Yesterday, via the HOA attorney we were notified that the HOA Board had made an inquiry to the Garden City attorney and Planning Office about the below referenced meeting on Monday March 31 of this year. We appreciate the HOA requesting such standing at that meeting and are encouraged by their willingness to represent the interests of all the homeowners covered by The Plantation Master Declaration Contract.

Thank you very much.

To:  The Plantation Master Association Board of Directors.

Please be advised that several homeowners in The Plantation neighborhood were given notice of a stakeholders meeting to be held at The Garden City Municipal Offices on March 31st.

We have subsequently been advised that individual homeowners were inadvertently sent the invitations, and we would not be able to attend the meeting or be able to represent our concerns about the Brighton Development—phase three of the SAP created by the City Fathers several years ago.

We believe the Master Association does have a seat at that table and we respectfully request that you represent the homeowners that are concerned about the scope of the Brighton Development.

Enclosed please read the correspondence between Mr. David Leroy who represents several groups of property owners in The Plantation and Mr. Charles Wadams the attorney for Garden City.

As you can see the scope of the proposal and the process outlined by the City Attorney are very different than the votes and the rule created for the SAP in August of 2023.

Please let us know at the earliest possible date of your plans to represent members of The Plantation neighborhood on the date given.

Thank you and respectfully submitted.
